* The above mentioned parameters refer to rough machined condition.
There are technical possibilities of deep drilling and boring in diameter range 75-360 mm in the length of 16 000 mm as well as machining up to 30 000 mm with weight of 60 tons for combined shafts.
Steel grades:
(All according to EN, PN, DIN, NFA, BS, ASTM and others depending on customer demand)
- Quality carbon steel
- Alloy steel
Steel melting:
- Vacuum degassing which provides H2 content below 0,7 ppm; O2 below 25 ppm.
- We can cast ingots according to two technologies: bottom and vacuum top pouring. We guarantee great steel purity K4<30 acc. to DIN50602; sulfur content < 0,005%.
Heat Treatment:
Heat Treatment: 20 meters vertical heat treatment furnaces with state-of-the art high accuracy after full overhauling in 2009.
Conditions of delivery:
The shafts are delivered in rough machined or in final machined condition, according to customer's requirements.
Non Destructive Testing:
UT, MT, PT and visual testingFor UT we use state-of-the-art digital defectoscopes produced by the most reputed manufacturers.
Magnetic and Penetration Tests are performed before shaft’s elements assembling. MT is done with a very accurate and modern equipment.
After assembling all connection areas are MT and visually checked.
Visual tests are done with a video endoscope: as well as module boroscope.
Our staff is very well experienced, regularly trained regarding the newest tings which appear in UT and certified according to PN EN473 with level II and III.
Certificates:
The certificates are issued according to the following standards:
PN-EN 10204, 2.2 and 3.1 and 3.2 (LR, GL, DNV, ABS, BV, NKK, RINA, KRS, CCS, RMRS etc.)
